You know how some people go all through school and get a bunch of degrees then come out and get a job and wonder “is this it?” and realize they have bigger dreams than just working for someone else for 40 years, a 401k and a crappy commute? I teach them how to switch their mindset from employee to entrepreneur, play bigger in life, use the power of the web & social media to build their own business, make money & live life on their own terms.
I was in school getting “highly educated” until I was 26. Spent the rest of my twenties working in the real world with my shiny two Masters degrees and a boatload of student loan debt. It didn’t take long to realize I wasn’t cut out for that jazz. I spent a good 2 minutes being bitter and then saw that I had a mission to fulfill because of it. I’m far from the only one who feels this way—this blog is a way to connect with others who need to vent, explore options and get motivated. Technology has changed the game not only for networking with like-minded people but for working in general. Slaving away in a cube is not a necessary evil.
There are those who know they are born entrepreneurs from kindergarten and then there are those of us who were born out of desperation a little later.
